SAINT-AUBIN 1ER CRU “PERRIERES” BLANC, JEAN CHARTRON 2022

$580.00

Description

Tasting Note

  • Nose: Elegant and complex, featuring aromas of fresh pear and ripe orchard fruits layered with prominent mineral reduction, flint, and white floral notes. There is a very subtle hint of new oak that integrates nicely with air.

  • Palate: Generous yet highly focused. It displays a sleek, middleweight texture with excellent energy. Flavors skew toward bright citrus, white peach, and a nutty depth, maintaining sharp precision across the tongue.

  • Finish: Youthfully austere, bone-dry, and surprisingly long. It leaves a persistent, chalky, and mineral-driven finish.

Drinking Window

2026 – 2033+ Because 2022 provided a bit more immediate fruit volume and approachability than 2021, this wine is entering its drinking window now. However, its stony, reductive “Perrières” character means it will easily reward cellaring over the next 5 to 8 years.
