Tasting Note

• Nose: Initially a bit reserved or backward, it opens up beautifully with fresh pear, orchard fruits, lemon oil, white flowers, and light tertiary scents of crushed stone and subtle wood spice.

• Palate: Very well-balanced and linear with a crisp, driving bead of acidity. It features excellent density for a Saint-Aubin without losing its energetic, vibrant edge. Flavors favor lemon zest, crisp apple, and a fine, chalky minerality.

• Finish: Taut, poised, and fresh with a lingering, clean citrus and mineral-driven finish.

The wine is showing beautifully now thanks to its focus and energy, but its tightly wound 2021 acidity gives it the structure to evolve gracefully over the next several years.
